Developed in the scope of the 50th anniversary celebration of the Constitution of the Portuguese Republic, the poster titled À Liberdade ("To Freedom"), explores how fundamental law protects and promotes human rights.

Inspired by the toast to freedom - a gesture made by two Portuguese students that led to Peter Benenson’s article The Forgotten Prisoners and, by extension, the founding of Amnesty International - the work evokes freedom of thought and expression (Art. 18 UDHR; Art. 41 CRP). A simple gesture transforms into memory, reminding us that freedom, even when lived softly every day, is never permanently given.
